There are four contributing factors that play a vital role to the efficiency of your air conditioning and heating system and to your overall comfort.
Temperature – To the average consumer, temperature is the beginning and the end of discussion when the topic of indoor comfort arises. However, temperature is just the beginning.
Clean and Fresh Air – A dusty home can have huge effects on both the efficiency of your system and your health. Our specialists will be happy to suggest an air cleaner that will assist to remove the dust and other allergens within your homes air so that you can breathe easier and your system will run more efficient.
Humidity – As a California resident we are well aware of the weather fluctuations. In the summer months, we may experience a heat wave, which can also cause an influx of humidity which will make it feel much hotter. In your home, when the humidity is removed with your A/C system, the air becomes less sticky and the summers become more enjoyable and your comfort is restored.
System Control – On a daily basis we always answer the same question. “Why are the temperatures so inconsistent from room to room? The front of the house is warmer or cooler than the back and vice versa. Why?” The answer to that question is a self-adjusting thermostat that will balance the air throughout your home. Our specialists at ACP Mechanical will be happy to suggest a programmable thermostat perfectly designed for your needs.
Standard filters work to keep your air conditioning and heating system clean. The filter rests between the main return duct and the blower cabinet and will improve dust removal by seven times more than a standard filter. Upgrading to a pleated media filter will remove everything from insecticide dust to airborne viruses from the filtered air. Always choose a filter that matches your blower’s capacity. For optimum efficiency and filtration, ACP Mechanical recommends that you replace your disposable filters at least once a month. If you have washable filters, they should be cleaned once a month.
